David is nationally recognized for his attributes as an educator and his knowledge and skill in the use of human patient simulation (HPS) for clinical training. His clinical experience includes over 10 years of Cardiovascular ICU nursing and 19+ years as a critical care transport nurse for the University of Michigan Survival Flight. David's passion and artistry involves creating moulage for trauma training. His innovative instructional techniques span across multiple healthcare disciplines including nursing, EMS, police, fire, respiratory care and medicine.
